Hi, I'm Marie
Project manager. Parent. Expat residing in Paris, France.
A few years ago, I moved here with my family. What began as a temporary contract gradually became a new chapter of life overseas.
How It All Began
Moving to France wasn’t part of our long-range plan. As with many international moves, it started as a job opportunity and soon grew into something far more significant.
The opening months were demanding — unfamiliar systems, new routines, elevated expectations. Ordinary tasks seemed more complex than expected.
The Adjustment Period
There was culture shock, doubt, and plenty of hands-on learning. Gradually, routines took shape. We found places that fit us, connected with other families, and began creating something that felt secure.
Why I Built Stellar Quill Haven
Most online information was either corporate relocation guidance or shallow tourism content. What was missing was an honest, everyday family viewpoint.
This site aims to bridge that gap — practical guidance grounded in real life in France.
What This Site Covers (And What It Does Not)
This site is:

- Not a tourism authority resource
